July – August 2021
Explore the island of rock: cliffs, caves, and Caymanite! Campers will become adventurers for the day and take part in our exciting and educational activities in Cayman Brac. Our day camp is a stress-free experience for parents, including pick up at 9am and drop off at 5:30pm from your holiday location.
Camp activities include:
- Rock climbing
- Survival skills treasure hunt
- Species identification
- Forest games
- Native knowledge scavenger hunt
- Beach clean-up
Every day, campers will try new activities in different locations around the Brac. We suggest booking a few consecutive days to maximize the fun!
Campers will get vertical with an introduction to rock climbing. Explore caves and learn about the fascinating formations. Connect to nature by learning about native flora and fauna. Experience famous Brac landmarks on an island-wide treasure hunt. Learn wilderness navigation and survival skills in the wild bluff forests. Give back to the island by cleaning a beach. Find inner zen with meditation and yoga. There is so much adventure on this island!
All technical equipment is provided including climbing equipment, helmet, headlamps, binoculars, and navigation equipment.
Safety is our number one priority at Rock Iguana. Campers have direct supervision from the moment we pick them until we drop them off to a parent or authorized chaperone. All roped activities are supervised by an AMGA certified instructor using certified equipment. Instructors are first aid certified and outdoor experts. We work with a maximum staff-to-student ratio of 1:4 to ensure the highest standard of safety, education, and fun.
