Live at the Yogi Wall in Cayman Brac and on Zoom

CLASS BY DONATIONS – FUNDS GO TO:

NATIONAL TRUST Brac Land Acquisition Fund

Cayman Brac is a unique and magical place on this earth. We are very blessed to call this place HOME, a place embraced by nature, a place to explore underwater and on land, a place to feel and hear nature, a place to be as we are within NATURE!

The current situation around the world has brought so many travelers from Grand Cayman to visit the Brac to discover what gem this place really is, people who may have never thought about coming here before. This is a great opportunity for everyone to explore and enjoy this magical place, but it also opened up so many people’s eyes to the Real Estate opportunities here – everyone wants a piece of this gem for themselves too!

The Brac is the home of so many birds, parrots, bats, trees, lizards, rock iguanas, fish, turtles and the list goes on and on… this nature lived here way before we called this place home. And now we are moving in and slowly take their home away? For example, how would the birds survive without the trees?

Why do we love the Brac so much? We love the nature in the Brac, we hike with the parrots, we practice yoga outdoors with the sound of the birds and the ocean, we climb the bluff while the booby birds fly by and we dive with the turtles ALL IN A SINGLE DAY! But this dream paradise could come to an end if we don’t ACT RIGHT NOW! Protect critical parts of this magical land before it is sold to future homeowners or developers.

Cayman Brac has the least protected land of all the 3 islands. Places like the lighthouse hiking trail, south east beach (home of so many rock climbing routes), long beach, etc… which should all be National Parks – unfortunately are all privately owned “at this moment”.

National Trust has done great work protecting some of Cayman Islands nature.

Your donation is much appreciated to help protect Cayman Brac’s natural beauty, the funds will be designated to: National Trust Brac Land Acquisition Fund

Who can join the class:

Anyone!!! A good fitness level is required if you want to finish the whole 40 sun salutation. If you are a beginner, you can also join us for as many sun salutations as you can do and rest when you feel tired – an easy variation of the poses will be taught for beginners. When we move into those set of asanas for 40 times, we create heat inside our body, burning toxins and generating will power. The energy of being together for a good cause will move mountains 😉 or the Bluff

What is a sun salutation:

It’s a set of yoga poses.

We will see you on mat live at the Yogi Wall or on Zoom – sweating together through 40 sun salutations celebrating nature, life and the Brac – together we can do it!!!

Namaste!
